Time taken is more in transferring large data from weblogic server to html (struts)

Our application uses Struts as presentation tier and weblogic as application server. User triggers an action from screen and system performs business logic. The out come of business logic execution is a matrix with large amount of data. The data is stored in a hashmap and transferred to jsp. In jsp uses struts iterate tag to iterate the collection object and render the HTML page. The time take from the completion of business logic to rendering the screen is very high. We doubt it may be due to the large data inside the collection object. Is it the problem? If yes is there any way to improve the performance? In jsp I know there is a tag called flush to flush the content to HTML page intermittently, is there any equivalent tag in struts inside iterate tag so that we can force the system to flush the content intermittently?.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Please do not cross-post the same question in multiple forums. It wastes people's time when multiple redundant conversations take place.
