This was working fine yesterday. Today, I get the following error. I'm not using JAI, just a Connection, Statement and Resultset object. What is checkmmx.exe?

The stack trace shows nothing relevant, but I can post it if necessary.

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP

Generated servlet error:
error: error reading C:\jdk150_05\jre\lib\ext\checkmmx.exe; error in opening zip file

This is not part of the standard install. Do you have some sort of custom installed software that modifies the default JRE installation?

I guess I do, but haven't a clue what it could be.

I just took a chance and deleted it (checkmmx.exe), now my page works fine.

Wonder what the hell that could have been.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
