I have selected by patni computer system. I have 3 years experience. Patni ask me for bond. I am from small organization. To get good experience in CMM-5 level company, i agreed on bond issue with patni. I like to stay with patni for long duration. but i am fearing that if i am not enjoying my job in patni, then how much bond will affect me there.

Do u think, Can I give bond to patni computer(PCS)? Is patni computer good company to grow?

How do you want to grow?Signing a bond depends on that.My friend works there. He too signed a two year bond in Dec.2002 as a fresher. He is still there and not looking for a change bcos they are now 'putting' him from Mainframe to J2EE.

Thanks for reply. Grow means after 2 years, my experience in pcs should give me very good profile.
I have 3.5 years experence, but I donot have J2EE experience, only on core java. I have worked on stock market domain and having onsite experience also. But as I have come from small organization, they have reduced my values. and put a bond option for me.

I believe that if I go to other company, I would get good value than patni. But patni is good company,as per my knowledge. I donot want to miss this oppertunity and donot want to ditch patni later.(want to settle in PCS, if work is interesting) but I have fear to give bond to any company.

So wanted to know more about PCS, so i could give bond with free and relax mind.

If they put you on J2EE project then 2 years at PCS may not be that bad. Even though they promise you to put you on J2EE project now they may change their mind based on requirement and your performance. I would compromise salary for good work.
I agree. Here's the link:
