Impact Analysis on code

Hi friends,

Iam doing Impact Analysis on a Health Care Project.

Actually one of the data base field size has changed from 10 to 11. (i.e. a column providernumber).

On site people suggested us to add a new column to the existing table (i.e. newprovidernumber). And if any user enters his old providernumber or newprovidernumber, his entire record has to be displayed on the screen.

Here the problem is to change the code also. The front end was done by using SERVLETS, JSP and EJB.

We have to give two options to the users to enter their providernumber (either old or new).

If any dependency variable to the providernumber has to be noticed and further code changes would be done.

I have to modify the code by adding newprovidernumber text box to every JSP, and also do the changes to the procedure calls from JSPs or SERVLETS. (Extra parameter is included for newprovidernumber).

Please anybody help me how to proceed.

Thanks in advance..

Do you have any experience developing software?
If not there are sites (such as guru.com) where you can put small jobs like this out to bid.
