Tree problem

I have a tree on my jsp. the tree branches to multiple child and so on upto n-level.

Now, a parent can have multiple child but every child must have a single parent. I hope the structure of the tree is understand. its a simple tree.
Every node contains its own id and its parent id.

I want to select a certain sequence of tree. I do this by providing checkboxes. But out of so many trees available, i need the 2 checkbox selections to be on any single sequence of tree.

How do i manage this?

Please ask for clarifications if required and provide a solution.

You can do this using JavaScript.

Post your code that generates Tree.
