Creating comments in scriptless JSP?

This may seem like a stupid question but I really want to put comments on some of my JSP's. I'd like to document what a specific <c:forEach> loop is doing, etc, etc but I don't want the client(browser) to be able to view the comments. How is this possible? Thanks!
