i did'nt understood the life cycle of jsp correctly..after translation where is translated servlet stored in ....will it be stored in servlet engine or any other?

The lifecycle of a JSP page is described in the JEE tutorial.

I don't think what happens with the servlet source and class files that are created while translating a JSP is specified anywhere - it's up to the servlet engine how to do this. Tomcat stores those in the "work" directory inside of its installation directory.
