I need a small suggestion.

THe problem is I have one jsp and in that jsp i have a text box filled with some value and in the same jsp i have another hyperlink which takes to another page.

Suppose i change the value of textbox in main jsp, and i click on the hyperlink on that jsp, i am not able to see the updated value, it is still having the old value.

Can anyone suggest how to do this.

chand chand,

Three Things:

Welcome to JavaRanch!

We're pleased to have you here with us in the JSP forum, but there
are a few rules that need to be followed, and one is that proper names are
required. Please take a look at the
JavaRanch Naming Policy and
adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

You can change it here

Posting the same question in more than one forum is called cross-posting and is a rude thing to do. It wastes the time of the people who are trying to help you.

I'm going to close this post since the other copy is in the HTML/Javascript forum and it sounds like you need to learn about HTML Forms in order solve this problem.
