My friend has joined a company in India where he has to sign a sort of "training bond" for 3 yrs. bond says if somebody leaves before 3 yrs he/she have to pay 5 lakhs!!! the person is completely fresher and spent only 2 months in the comp. I want to know the validity and effectivity of these sort of bonds? Are the really valid? If somebody has real reasons can he/she braek bonds? What may be the consequences? Plz help with info.

Can you write in details about what this bond says?
Remember that many companies ask for this bond when they give the training to freshers/experienced people. My friend recently signed 1 year bond(contract) with his emloyer. He is in the company for last 2 years!.Company will give him some XYZ CRM product training and will also pay for his certification.Total cost the company will bear is $6000.
