We use javabean with jsp for the separation of application logic from presentation logic. I want to ask that when we use servlets as middle tier, then either we have to make database connection in each servlet or can we use any other way by which we dont have to make db connection again and again?

Most real-world web application developers will use container-managed connection pooling.
