If i have a customer form along with a picture uploading utility, do i save the picture separately in a folder or do you save it in the database?
If the picture is associated with a row in database, how do I associate them when displaying the
along with the other details.

If I am not wrong to understand your query then you want to show image in browser. And your image stored in your database. you can show it by set response header. the following code might help you
response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "inline; filename="
