Dear all,

When i am trying to upload(write) a file to a folder in my live server(godaddy) through jsp it is showing some error like what i am giving below

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission directory name/ write)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:372)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile(JspServlet.java:292)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:236)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:802)
sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor99.invoke(Unknown Source)

and my class file is not importing java.io.FilePermission class whether it i the reason for it, or else help me to solve this problem

hopping a fast replay form you.

If your server is a Unix system, make sure that you have write permission for the directory you are trying to upload into. Which means that the "w" attribute must be set for the web user.
