What do mean when you say read a 'generated' html page.
What is generating it?
Where are you trying to read it?

I'm afraid that's even less clear than what you wrote before. Are you trying to read HTML from a URL like http://www.javaranch.com, or where is this HTML coming from? Are you generating it yourself (using JSP or some such technology), or is it ready-made?

There is no HTML-to-Word converter I am aware of, certainly no free one.

There is nothing built into JSP for building Microsoft Word documents.
There are third party Java products for interfacing with Microsoft Office Products; POI is the only one that comes to my mind.

I don't know how easy or difficult it would be to integrate any of these products with JSP.
