Resource file update problem

Hi all,
I use a commercial framework for development which runs under JBoss.
We use resource files for static texts (for different languages)
When we change a value in resource file, or add a new key, we do not see the changes in application although we refresh the page.
We are able to see the changes only after we restart the framework application.
I think the application reads the resource file and caches it (in someway).
Is there any way to apply changes in resource files without restarting server? Something like " read keys & values from resource file again" while application runs?
What can you suggest?
Thanks in advance for any help.

That would depend on when your framework or container is reading the files and how they're being stored. Typically properties files are read at startup and kept in memory.

You'll need to figure out whether your framework, your container, or your app is responsible for this and then, if necessary, read the documentation to find out if a method has been made available to refresh them. If it is done by your app, you can write your own refresh method.
