Be sure that any book or tutorial you choose focuses on JSP 2.0 with the JSTL and EL, and not JSP 1.x with scriptlets. Otherwise, you'll just be learning a bunch of outdated stuff that you'll just need to unlearn.

Head First Servlets & JSP is good book for learning the basic stuff.
