I develop an web Application using JSP...
How can i create JAR file for the web application..
give me the syntax....
Where could i paste the JAR file in my tomcat folder....
Please help me regards this...
Because i never did it before.I just develop application and give it to my Team Leader . But for now its my job to host it. I am unaware of hosting.
Help me...

Any help will be appreciated.....

Please use Jar command
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/tooldocs/windows/jar.html

or ANT jar task [if you have ANT already set up on your machine]

Anyway thanks for your help karthikeyan...
I have created a JAR and even an WAR file too...
But for now i need an PROPERTY file(*.properties) and need a way to access it in my JSP page...
Will you help me regards this..

Please use proper subject for your post.Because this will reduce the ranchers time to read and solve your problems.

Secondly,as your jar problem is solved.(as per your previous post).
Please initiate a new post for new Problem.
i.e
