Hi everybody,

This may be a known issue but this is now the second time I've observed this, so I'd rather say something, than keep quiet (in case it's symptomatic of bigger problems):
  • Posted the first reply to a thread.
  • Post appears in the thread.
  • Post appears in the top-level board summary
  • Even after refreshing the browser the forum level listing is unaffected and lists 0 replies.
  • A second post usually fixes the problem.

    Against what schemas validate themselves?

Unfortunately it's a Heisenbug from my perspective as I can't seem to reproduce this behavior.

No big deal - for all I know my posts may include some junk characters that are causing this behavior.

It could be that your browser is caching the orginal page. I know IE likes to do this even when I have it to check for new pages all the time here on the ranch.

    Thank You.

That's the last reminder I needed that I wanted to give Firefox a try.

HEHE, also knowing the history of the UBB code here that we use, would not surprise me if it had to be something with how it cache's data too. LOL
