Am I a experienced developer or fresher?

Hi, all
I am still not employeed.

I got an offer almost end of last year but I reject it becuase they "edit" my resume. Here "edit" means complety change. I had about 5 years of Java developing experience in Korea and they "edit" it as if I worked in US with decent companys. So, what could I do? I couldn't start my career like this.

Anyway, please judge my situation.
1. As I said, I have four and half of developing experience in Korea from 1996 to 2000
2. I have MS degree at Computer Science in Univ. of Texas at Dallas. I graduated at May 2003.
3. I have SCJP1.4 and plan to get SCJD by July
4. For some personal reason( I got pregnant after graduating the graduate school), I started job search on August 2004.
4. Hey, I think I am pretty good at Java related skills( )

So what do you guys say?
Am I a fresher or experienced developer?
Am I capable to get a job in US?

You are not a fresher. The experience which you had before completing MS is very much valid.
