Hi people,
Has anyone worked on stuff involving the connections to Ca-IDMS Database which runs on MVS/OS-390 operating system???

I have not heard of IDMS in a long long time....
The last i heard about java on an os/390 was with db2.
try the ibm web sight... look for the db2 documentation...
look for java with the db2 documentation...
stay in touch, at the present time i am trying to java/jdbc/oracle to work together....
please review the COBOL-DB2_SQLCODE post.

Yes I have extensively used JDBC connections from WebLogic 7.0 to CA-IDMS Database v16.1 running on VSE.

But I am having issues using the same database from WebSphere 6.1 ND.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
