Do JDBC Drivers support multithreading or Multitasking

Hi Friends
Will any one clear me the doubt mentione din the Question above
I am very confused about the right choice
but according to me they supposrt multithreading because all connection pools run inside same process space
If Any one correct me in case i am wrong then i will be thankful

Multitasking? Tell yourself that you really didn't type that...move on.
Multithreading? Most of the major drivers (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Informix) are thread-safe. One in particular is not, the JDBC-ODBC bridge.
