I'm only starting with java but unfortunately have a BIG project to contend with. I wondering if anyone has any code for reading from buffers???
Also, is it possible to send SMS messages to phones from a server using Java???
Thanks.........

I think you need to know much about the communication API which connect to the phone and even fax. Check up for the different APIs for the communication.

Try to obtain a copy of "Think In Java"...
It will give you the backround you need inorder to read the API documentation.
Also, there are a couple of voice related projects going on..
surf the web...
you might find a web sight with everything you need.
You are getting into some realy stuff...
Here to help... stay in touch..
