I had given the same question earlier, but due to
problems in logging in, i had registered again and
sending the same problem to you. hope u would
not be troubled.
i had a problem with my project injsp.
i have to store lump some of data into the database in a single
field and have to retrieve it too.i am using sqlserver as the backend.
how can it be done in sqlserver?
i heard that there is some file data type in oracle
to store lump some of data.is there a similar data type in sqlserver too?

I believe you are referring to a blob (binary large object). I don't know if that is supported in MS SQL.

Hi sreedhar,
I think your requirement full fill if you declare field data type as 'BLOB'(binary large objects). This Data type supports in MS-SQL also.
