Hi Friends,
I'm working on a Linux platform and I need to connect
to a database using Type I, i.e., JDBC-ODBC Driver since I do
not have other drivers availble nor I wanna use them.
Now for making connection to a DB using JDBC ODBC, I'll need a
DSN. And the problem is that on Linux , I cant make DSN names, so whats the solution ???
Can anyone help ?
thanx in advance

When you use drivers, they are dependent of the database, let's assume you are using MySQL, I think it has the MySQL jdbc driver on the web site. As far as conneting to it, you use stnadard URL.
usr://myapp.com/mysql ort#

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
