This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
The jdbc-odbc bridge driver, while fine for basic work, has feature limitations. I'm looking for a jdbc driver (or drivers) that works on NT with MS SQL Server and MS Access, that is robust, and that has good feature support. I need only to support connection from an application to a database within one PC. I've seen a driver list on the Sun site, but, these are either very pricey, or have 'garage shop' written all over them, or both. Does anyone have any favorable experience with these or other jdbc drivers that might meet my need? (By the way, pricyness won't rule out an otherwise good choice, it will just be painful!)
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
