Greetings, I am in the process of building a system that will store documents (word, excel, powerpoint, text, flowcharter ...) in a data base and then display to the user (so far, not a problem). Question: I would like to keep the backends as generic as possible - but I need to search the contents of the documents. Does anyone have any recommendations (or should I scrap the generic back end and design and implement a specific db (such as oracle)? Thanks, Steve
