applet security while using jdbc

iam stuck up while using jdbc with applets....the program compiles well but when a helluva lengthy exceptions
i tried out with 'policytool' and made ALLPermissions granted to applets and saved the file with the name policy in my folder...but somehow dont know how to implement me out...iam in a great hurry
