How many types of cursor in JDBC? Someone told me but I have no idea about that. Could you give me some threads?

In jdbc the we can use a Recordset to iterate through returned records, like using a cursor. But I think jdbc has no 'Cursor' interface/class.
Could it be that the 'someone' was talking about different types of drivers (not cursors) in jdbc.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
