My servlet on diff m/c and data base server is running on diff m/c. I have shared the folder containg database drivers on the database server m/c. And I have set the class path to this folder in my servlet m/c as
//dbmachinename/shared folder name
When I run the servlet it is showing this error
"Error while connecting to db : JZ006: Caught IOException: java.net.SocketException: socket write error (code=10053)"
Thanks in advance

This is proprietary to Windows. Try mapping the shared folder to a drive, and refer to this drive.
