Hi all,
I am trying to create a text file as an ODBC datasource. The program compiles with no errors. However, when I attempt to execute the program I receive an error stating:
problems with SQL sent to jdbc dbc:CafeJolt [Microsoft] [ODBC Text Driver] Cannot modify the design of the table 'JoltData'. It is a read-only database.
The source code for the program can be viewed at: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/Database/JDBCShortCourse/jdbc/code/CreateJoltData.java
I am trying to run this on a Windows ME machine with java version 1.3.1. Any assitance you can offer would be greatly apperciated.
Thank you,
