Hi Ranchers

Background:
Currently in US. Work ex. 8yrs. Working as PM. Looking to move to India(bangalore) and actively interviewing. FYI, have the PMP certification.

Question:
Yes its about the salaries :-) in India. Based on speaking with various people and also looking through various forums on the net the range for my profile is between 14-18 lpa. What kind of "perks" can one usually negotiate for in addition to salary. What are the pros/ cons and any tips while negotiating with companies (MNC/ India IT companies)?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rakesh

I guess you can negotiate only CTC(Cost to Company)which includes all allowances. But cant negotiate perks.

But some companies do offer Joininng Bonus which you can negotiate.

Also your salary includes Variable Amount, so you should be careful about that also.

Good Luck

I think this range seems to be too high.I doubt whether any Indian IT company can afford this.Few offshore companies might offer in this range.14-18 Lakhs means $32 to 40K.
