Hi Farooq, I have never heard/seen it done, although maybe some of the type 4 JDBC drivers do that directly. Java programs expect to talk to a database using the JDBC API (even JDO is layered on top of JDBC for SQL data stores). The only way ODBC is used is with the JDBC-ODBC bridge. Cheers, Robert
