ResultSetMetaData Problem

hi,
I'm using Oracle thin driver,
I want to get the table name from any query's resultset
using ResultSetMetaData's getTableName(int) method. But it gives
only a blank as result. But when I used ODBC driver and MS-Access
it is giving me the required table name. So how to solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance
