The thing is.. like hotmail.com the state field will be loaded in a textbox whenever i select any country from a combobox..
I'm using JSP. Database SQL Server 7.0.. pls help..

can you not use an action event to listen until someone selects a value from the combobox? upon the event, make a call to the database to fill in the values of the second gui component, depending on what country was chosen.
Is that what you're asking for?

Yes i'm thinking in this way too. but can i implement ActionListener for html gui components..
