Poolman with MS SQL Server

We're trying to use Poolman, JDBC 2.0, MS SQL Server using the JDBC/ODBC bridge.
I have set up my poolman.xml file and have a little sample application. (code posted below).
When I run my query, I get the right number of records. However, when I do a resultset.getstring("name"), I get null.
Any ideas/suggestions/hints?
