I am trying JDBC to work with SQL Server 2000. I have a resultset object from the following statement which outputs an XML string(as clearly seen on the query analyzer).
SELECT TOP 2 id FROM table WHERE (c_id = '32') FOR xml auto
When I use the ResultSet using getString(1), I get a stream of characters(probably encoded bytes). How do I convert this stream to a readable string?
Thanks,
Drepe
