Hello Lefty,
I was brwosing the DB2 docs on the web and found this link:
http://www-4.ibm.com/cgi-bin/db2www/data/db2/udb/winos2unix/support/document.d2w/report?fn=db2aje71db2aj02.htm
to the Developing Enterprise Java Applications Using DB2 manual. Under the heading Java Enablement they mention a utility that installs the driver and where to get more details.
You may be interested also on
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/db2/java/
which contains updated information about Java support within DB2. Particularly interesting are type mappings, isolation levels mappings and JDBC features not supported by DB2.
Hope it helps.
