I'm using JBuilder5 add when I fetch some datas from Access2000 database I can only use Indexes set there. I can not find the way to suppress them using the following method:
queryDataSet1.setRowId("columnName", true);
I've tried many combinations with seting index properties in Access and my Java app., but it seems to me that the method:
setRowId(String "colName", boolean allow)
doesn't work at all.
Maybe this method doesn't work only when corresponding with MSAccess?
What would you say?
Any expirience?
I have already tried to avoid fetching rowID metadata in order to set them in my application but failed again.

Greetings from Serbia!

The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .
We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please re-register and select a new name which meets the requirements.
I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
