Hi,
I use MS SQL Server 2K and jnetdirector as the JDBC driver for Java servlets application in JRun3.1 build 26414. Sometimes I got the following error,
[java.sql.BatchUpdateException: com.jnetdirect.jsql.u: OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB' reported an error. Execution terminated by the provider because a resource limit was reached.]
java.sql.BatchUpdateException: com.jnetdirect.jsql.u: OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB' reported an error. Execution terminated by the provider because a resource limit was reached.
at com.jnetdirect.jsql.ae.executeBatch(Unknown Source)
I was told it is not JDBC layer issue but ODBC one. There are two SQL servers are linked under NT4 SP6 to implement batched distributed query.
Someone told me that memory should be the issue, but 4GB should be enough.
Maybe someone has the same error as I got here. Your hints will be highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jet

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
