The only Type-4 driver I found listed for MS Access at the JDBC Drivers Search from the Sun site is from here. (Russian is my guess...)
Personally I'd go with a free database (like MySQL over MS Access) every time

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
