I've been working full time for JavaRanch for over a month now. And the more I work, the more I realize there is to do!

Within the "Moderators Only" forum, I see bartenders asking for sheriff help on several topics. And then realize that a lot of the sheriffs are busy with other projects and ... well ... if these bartenders only had sheriff access .... well .... we could sure use more sheriffs around here ...

As I peruse the list of bartenders to promote, there are many I think would make great sheriffs! And there are three where I feel terribly guilty that I didn't make them sheriffs a loooooong time ago. So today I will correct one of the many mistakes from my past.

Today, I promote the following three gentlement to the rank of sheriff:

    Andrew Monkhouse

    Mark Herschberg

    David O'Meara

An American, an ozzie and a hybrid (ozzie in america).

    Congratulations fellers!

Map, could you please update the contact page?

Jim, could you please update the sheriffs list?

Thanks.

I guess I can no longer post topics with the heading "Can a sheriff please fix ..."

Welcome, Gents! Remember, in the morning, get dressed first, then put the badge on. You don't want to make that mistake.

Then comes the little morning speech

1. Serve the public trust
2. Protect the innocent
3. Uphold the law

"Bwahaha" definitely isn't subversive enough for the secret meetings, is it?
