JDBC oracle8i connection on the server

i have win2000 and oracle8i(server) installed.whenever i try to connect to the oracle database the java pgm. returns an error"no suitable driver found".what is the problem(i have jdk1.4 installed)
please help...

You need to add class11.jar to you classpath, after you downloaded it from Oracle. You need to all import java.sql.* to your program and load the correct driver for Oracle: driver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver";
