I wrote a program which I can use to access an Oracle 9i Database I set up. However, this program will only work when run on my server machine. I cannot get it to work from any client. Can anyone help me out with this?
On the client I have set the database and it works where I can login through SQL Plus. This is what makes things so much more confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno if this is allowed. Oh well, someone'll let me know.

Anyone? Thoughts? Someone out there must have used a Java program to access an Oracle database on a computer that was not the srever... Right? I did not know I was so original with my ideas if you haven't.
btw, katana is the server machine name and POS is the database name (not what you're thinking). They are on the same subnet and I have tried going @IP and also tried OS.domain. However, none of those work. And again, SQL Plus does work on the client I am trying to run this from. Ideas?
