when i use
Statement stmt = con.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
why show me the following error
by the way,
if i want to use
ResultSet.previous() and in one code segment,how should i use the Connection.createStatement() method ?!

I'm guessing you're using the JDBC-ODBC drivers or similar. It looks like the driver you are using does not support the operations you are trying to perform.
As annoying as it is (and we've been there many times) you might have to find another way to do it.
