hi,everybody: when i use Statement stmt = con.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE); why show me the following error java.lang.AbstractMethodError: by the way, if i want to use ResultSet.previous() and ResultSet.next() in one code segment，how should i use the Connection.createStatement() method ？！
I'm guessing you're using the JDBC-ODBC drivers or similar. It looks like the driver you are using does not support the operations you are trying to perform. As annoying as it is (and we've been there many times) you might have to find another way to do it. "dushky2002", The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please re-register and select a new name which meets the requirements. Thanks. Dave
