JDBC - MSACCESS - PREPARED STATEMENTS

Is there some thing I am missing or Access driver donot support Prepared statements ? I have experimented different drivers but this is what I get for prepare statements .
Please reply ....... this is mind bogling !

There must be something else wrong. I have used prepared statements to access MS Access using the JDBCODBC bridge.

you must have an older version of the MSAccess ODBC driver than most people. Most of the newer versions support this feature. Try downloading a newer version of your MSAccess ODBC driver from Microsoft to see if that solves your problem
