I found this link via a simple Google search
It is not WebQL, but an article on similar topics from JavaWorld.

Apart from 'anyone know anything about WebQL' (which I don't), what are your requirements and what problems are you having?
If its a coding problem you can paste some code and we can help, otherwise you'll have to ask something a little more specific...
The impression I got was the WebQL was an actual product (and costs several thousand dollars), so are you looking for a way to hook this into Java or a copy of it written in Java or
ta,
Dave.
