Hi suraj,

Welcome to javaranch.

First of all change the title of thread. Your title must reflect the question. And change the content as well, typing in caps is considered very rude here. Avoid shortcut's and remove all the exclamation marks. Type as you would make a professional letter. Avoid those dot's.If other ranchers see the thread they may not bother even to have a look into it and your thread may be deleted.

Regarding your query , as you are a novice(I mean fresher in Indian lingo), your certification will not be considered. So my opinion is do not waste your time on any certifications. Certification may help provided you possess experience.

Hi Suraj, before answering your query, always use related subject line so you will get more responses. By using "PLZ HELP ME OUT!!!" as subject may not help you much.

Having less %age may not help you to get into big companies like TCS, Wipro, CTS, Infosys and other Indian big companies and small companies. But it wont be much difficult to start your career with a smaller companies with less sal as compare to big companies. Having certificates like SCJP will definitely help you to get job in small companies. Once you got 2+ years experience in small companies you can move to bigger companies. I have some friends who have less than 60% in their engineering and working with big companies and getting good salaries.

Regarding pay its difficult to answer either cisco admin or java programmer will get more. At this moment I can tell you definitely java programmer will get more.

Good Luck

As Ramesh said Caps letters means you are shouting at some one. So avoid using CAPS.
