Hi,
we have the requirement to use within our J2EE-Application personalized JDBC-connections (Oracle-DB). Is it possible to configure DataSources in a way, so that every user connects to the DB with his own username and password?
thanks
Alex

See javax.sql.DataSource#getConnection(String username, String password)...

Hi Lasse,
thanks for your answer. I was familiar with that overloaded method, but how to configure the DataSource? We use JBoss 3.2.1 and I guess that we will have to implement the Authorization with JAAS.
cheers

I'm afraid I cannot help you on how to configure the DataSource -- it's purely a question of how the JBoss guys have done it and I haven't used JBoss that extensively. You should ask the question at JBoss.org forums or at our own JavaRanch JBoss forum.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
