Hi,
Is there any way in JDBC to see if connection is inactive currently. We distributed app which runs tens of processes on each machines. All processes keep the connection even if it is not doing anything. Currently only way to release connection is to kill the processes.

I imagine api like connection.isActive().. Does anybody know anything like this?

Thanks in advance,
Sudhir
