it seems to be the same cycle over and over again....recruiter/hr person calls me for interview. i tell them about me and they ask about my experience. "well i just graduated in june, i dont really have much industry experience".
at this point i can pretty much i forget about the job...
everywhere i go, job fairs, online job search engines like monster etc, they all want people with experience.
what can i do? where do i go? im so lost here. i dont know what to do.
i was in the same situation...i emphasized on my academic projects and internship. certifications helped a bit too. btw, where are you hunting for a job? india? usa ?

While searching through many companies site I found a lot of openings for .net, asp.net, c# etc. Shall I start learning .net or java/j2ee is also eqaully hot and looks good for future also. I know Java is huge technology but I do not have exp. (I am scjp) so I should try and find java job or .net also good.

i graduated from a small university from a local suburb. i live very close to the chicagoland area.

Unfortunately, most "freshers" realize this too late, when they start looking for jobs during their senior year. In my case, it was just dumb luck. I needed money, so took summer jobs, coding. Keep in mind, back then, "coding" was not a thing to do for a career. There was no such thing as a computer science or engineering degree.

How do they find you/process you that they do not have your resume in front of them to realize that you just graduated.
