Problem of JDBC request is not supported

Hello I am using the Ingres 2.6 database / driver to connect to Ingres via my Java application. This application is live with Cariboulake ingres driver. But, since Ingres 2.6 comes with its own driver, we thought we should give it a try.

But, the following operations is not supported on the result set after geting the connection:

pResultSetRef.last() OR
pResultSetRef.absolute(1)

It gives "JDBC request is not supported" exception
And i have double checked the exception gets thrown at the
pResultSetRef.last() statement.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

The driver doesnt support JDBC2.0, so as those methods are related to JDBC2.0 you cant call those methods. Why you are using Ingress?

Thanks, what version of JDBC is supported by the ingres driver?
And where can i get the supported JDBC API for the Ingres 2.6
We are using ingres as its the legacy DB, we use Oracle as well.
Thanks again.
